Thailand Rally Championship Launches with Four Major Rally Events

The Royal Automobile Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage (RAAT), in collaboration with Monomax, a leading video streaming platform, has officially announced the launch of Thailand’s major dirt rally racing season for 2026. The championship will feature four major national and international rally events, with live broadcasts available nationwide through the Monomax application throughout the season. The official announcement was made on March 6, 2026, at Mono Studio in Nonthaburi.

This year’s competition aims to elevate Thailand’s rally motorsport standards under the concept “4 Dirt Formats, 4 Rally Experiences.” Each event will challenge both drivers and vehicles across diverse off-road terrains. The competitions are officially sanctioned by RAAT and organized under the international regulations of FIA Road Sport, bringing together rally organizers from across the country to welcome top Thai drivers as well as international competitors. The 2026 season also introduces “The New Era of Rally,” offering fans an exclusive viewing experience with live coverage directly from rally stages across Thailand via the Monomax application. The broadcasts will allow viewers to feel as if they are watching right at the edge of the track, with races streamed every Saturday and Sunday throughout the season.

Mr. Prutirat Ratanakul Seri Rerkrit, President of RAAT, stated that the association aims to elevate Thailand’s rally racing standards in 2026, not only by intensifying the competition but also by expanding audience accessibility. The collaboration with Monomax will help remove barriers for fans, enabling people from anywhere to watch the races and inspiring a new generation to become more interested in motorsports.

Beyond the excitement of racing, the events are also expected to stimulate local economies and tourism in the host provinces. Each rally will serve as a major dirt motorsport festival that brings energy and economic activity to communities throughout the year.

A representative from Monomax added that the platform is ready to support Thai sports through its digital capabilities, allowing fans to experience the thrill of rally racing through both live broadcasts and on-demand viewing available 24 hours a day. The 2026 dirt rally season will include five rally events throughout the year, with the detailed schedule for each event to be announced in due course.
