MONO Announces MONOMAX’s Transformation into a Streaming Ecosystem

MONO Announces MONOMAX’s Transformation into a Streaming Ecosystem

August 19, 2026 — MONO today announced a major milestone in its streaming business under the concept “The Next Chapter,” marking its strategic move toward becoming a Streaming-First organization. With MONOMAX having grown to a user base of more than 3.5 million, the company is reshaping its entire organization across content, technology, user experience, growth, and business partnerships, with users at the center of every development.

The new organizational direction is supported by dedicated management teams overseeing key areas including Sports Content, Original Content, Growth & Experience, Revenue & Partnership, and Platform, working together to elevate the streaming experience and better respond to evolving user needs.

Navamin Prasopnet, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Mono Next Public Company Limited, said:

“Becoming a Streaming-First organization is not simply about bringing broadcast content onto an online platform. It means changing the way the entire organization thinks by starting with the user. Instead of asking what content we already have and how we can deliver it to audiences, we must ask what users want and how we can make their experience better.

“From now on, content, technology, experience, and partnerships must work together with users at the center. Our goal is to make MONOMAX more than a platform where people come to watch content. It must become a platform that continuously creates value for its members.”

Sports Content: Building MONOMAX as a Destination for Sports Fans

One of the key pillars is Sports Content, with MONOMAX aiming to establish itself as a destination for sports fans. The focus is not simply on increasing the volume of content, but on delivering content that matches the interests of different fan communities.

The strategy is built around four key pillars: Premier League, EURO 2028, Volleyball World, and the FIFA World Cup 2026/2030.

MONOMAX will also expand beyond live matches to include Highlights, News, Behind-the-Scenes, and Variety Content, giving sports fans something to follow before, during, and after every competition.

Original Content: “Stories You Won’t Find Anywhere Else”

From Sports, MONOMAX will connect audiences to its Original Content under the concept “Stories You Won’t Find Anywhere Else.”

The platform will offer distinctive and exclusive content while tailoring content discovery to the interests of different audience groups—from football and volleyball fans to series audiences.

This approach is designed to help users discover new Original Content and give members more reasons to return to MONOMAX regularly, including during periods when there are no live sporting events.

Growth & Experience: From Viewing to Continuous Engagement

Under Growth & Experience, MONOMAX aims to evolve the user journey from simply watching content to creating continuous engagement.

User data and feedback will be used to continuously improve the viewing experience, while extending engagement beyond live matches through the “72 Hours Content” concept. This includes Highlights, Analysis, Original Content, Fantasy, and MAX ARENA.

MONOMAX will also extend the experience beyond the screen through real-world activities such as Watch Parties and Cheer To The Max Trips, creating stronger Engagement, Community, and long-term connections with sports fans.

Revenue & Partnership: “More Value in Every Subscription”

At the same time, MONOMAX is strengthening its Revenue & Partnership strategy under the concept “More Value in Every Subscription.”

The company believes that membership value is not defined by price alone, but by the overall combination of content, experiences, benefits, and services available to members.

MONOMAX will continue to expand collaborations with business partners to create new access channels, develop additional member benefits, and unlock new business opportunities—enabling members, partners, and MONO to grow together.

Platform: A Faster, More Stable and Seamless Experience

All of these initiatives will be supported by the Platform team, which is focused on delivering a smoother viewing experience regardless of where users are watching or which screen they use.

MONOMAX will continue to improve speed, stability, and system performance to support diverse viewing behaviors, including periods of high simultaneous usage.

The platform will also increase service transparency through MONOMAX System Status, allowing users to monitor the platform’s system status in real time.

From Streaming Platform to Streaming Ecosystem

This transformation reflects MONO’s ambition to evolve from a platform that simply provides content to a Streaming Ecosystem that understands its users and grows alongside them.

Every time users return to MONOMAX, the platform aims to deliver an experience that is better, more relevant, and more valuable than before.

“MONOMAX” Upgrades Streaming Infrastructure with AWS

“MONOMAX” Upgrades Streaming Infrastructure with AWS

Mono Streaming Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Mono Next Public Company Limited (MONO), is advancing the infrastructure of MONOMAX, a sports and entertainment streaming platform with more than 4 million registered users, by adopting the AWS Asia Pacific (Thailand) Region as a key technology foundation. The upgrade is designed to enhance platform stability, security, and scalability to support a large number of concurrent viewers, while preparing MONOMAX for the new sports season and the launch of 4K streaming for the 2026/27 Premier League season.

The infrastructure upgrade is part of MONOMAX’s strategy to deliver broadcast-quality live sports and entertainment experiences while supporting the platform’s continued growth. This is particularly important for major global sporting events that can attract massive numbers of concurrent viewers during peak moments.

Through its collaboration with Jasmine International Public Company Limited (JAS), the rights holder for major global sports properties—including the Premier League and Emirates FA Cup, as well as international volleyball competitions from Volleyball World, the UEFA European Championship, and the FIFA World Cup in 2030—MONOMAX serves as the primary platform for both live broadcasts and on-demand viewing.

As a result, the ability to support high volumes of concurrent viewers, maintain system stability, and ensure robust security is critical to enhancing the overall viewing experience. MONOMAX is therefore leveraging AWS cloud technology to develop a cloud-native streaming infrastructure that can dynamically scale according to demand. The infrastructure supports both large-scale live sports events and on-demand movies and series available on MONOMAX.

For the 2026/27 Premier League season, MONOMAX is taking the viewing experience to the next level with 4K streaming, powered by AWS media infrastructure that can scale according to demand to support high-quality video delivery and a seamless viewing experience.

MONOMAX’s Streaming Infrastructure on AWS Includes:

  • AWS Elemental Media Services — Powers the live delivery of the Premier League, FIFA World Cup 2026, and VNL volleyball to millions of MONOMAX viewers. The services process and package streams in real time to help ensure a broadcast-quality viewing experience across devices and varying network conditions.
  • Amazon CloudFront — Enables Thai viewers to enjoy fast and seamless streaming for both live sports and on-demand movies and series. Content is delivered with low latency through a distributed network designed to efficiently reach viewers across the country.
  • AWS WAF — Protects the viewing experience during major live events by blocking web exploits, bot traffic, and unauthorized access attempts before they can reach viewers, helping keep MONOMAX’s streaming services secure and uninterrupted.
  • AWS Shield Advanced — Helps keep MONOMAX available to millions of concurrent viewers during peak traffic periods through always-on DDoS detection and mitigation, protecting the streaming infrastructure against attacks during periods of exceptionally high demand.

In addition, the platform leverages other AWS services, including Amazon ECS, Amazon ElastiCache, and Amazon RDS, to support the core operations of the MONOMAX platform.

Beyond its cloud infrastructure, Mono Streaming also leverages AWS Unified Operations for Media, a specialized engagement model that brings AWS media experts together with the MONOMAX engineering team to provide hands-on operational support during live streaming events.

This close collaboration enables real-time monitoring, proactive troubleshooting, and continuous improvements to the streaming platform. It gives Mono Streaming greater confidence in delivering a reliable, broadcast-quality viewing experience, even during high-demand live sports events.

Navamin Prasopnet, Chief Executive Officer of Mono Streaming Co., Ltd., said:

“Our commitment is to build MONOMAX into a leading sports and entertainment streaming platform while delivering a world-class experience to millions of viewers. Live sports streaming requires both the stability to support large numbers of concurrent viewers and high levels of system performance. Using AWS as our technology foundation strengthens MONOMAX’s readiness to support major global sporting events while enabling us to continuously enhance the viewing experience.”

MONOMAX is also preparing to launch a Public Service Status Page, allowing users to check the status of key services, as well as information about scheduled maintenance and incidents that may affect service availability. The initiative is designed to enhance clarity and transparency in communication with users.

Vatsun Thirapatarapong, Country Manager, AWS Thailand, said:

“Today’s viewers expect a seamless, high-quality streaming experience, whether they are watching the Premier League live or catching up on on-demand content. The AWS Asia Pacific (Thailand) Region supports the speed and reliability that MONOMAX needs to serve a large number of viewers, and we are pleased to support Mono Streaming as it continues to develop new innovations and experiences for audiences in Thailand.”

This infrastructure upgrade marks another important milestone for MONOMAX as it prepares for the long-term growth of live sports and premium entertainment. The company will continue to raise streaming standards and deliver high-quality viewing experiences to sports fans and audiences across Thailand, especially during the moments that matter most.

MONOMAX Joins Forces with Thailand’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Society to Combat FIFA World Cup 2026 Copyright Infringement

Ms. Boonthida Somchai, Deputy Minister of Digital Economy and Society (MDES), together with Mr. Navamin Prasopnet, Chief Executive Officer of Mono Next Public Company Limited, and Ms. Nedpanit Potarakul, Chief Content Officer and Director of Monomax Sports TV, held a meeting to discuss measures to prevent and suppress illegal websites, online gambling platforms, and copyright infringement related to the live broadcasting of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The initiative aims to strengthen public-private cooperation in accelerating the shutdown of illegal platforms.

Ms. Boonthida stated that MDES places high priority on combating online crime, copyright infringement, and online gambling, particularly during the FIFA World Cup 2026. Between 10 and 24 June 2026, the Ministry’s Illegal Website Monitoring Center blocked a total of 12,671 URLs associated with illegal activities. Of these, 4,496 URLs were blocked under court orders, while another 8,175 URLs were taken down through cooperation with Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube.

As the official rights holder for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the Premier League broadcasts in Thailand, Mono Next Public Company Limited is integrating its monitoring information with the Illegal Website Monitoring Center to enable the immediate blocking of platforms found violating copyright laws, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of law enforcement.

Ms. Boonthida added that MDES maintains 24-hour surveillance and enforcement operations while working closely with private-sector partners to swiftly block illegal websites, minimizing their impact on the public, society, and Thailand’s digital economy. Members of the public who encounter online gambling websites during the FIFA World Cup 2026 are encouraged to report them via the GCC Hotline 1111, extension 87, available 24 hours a day, or by email at csoc@mdes.go.th.

CIB and JAS-MONO Launch “Operation VAR” to Crack Down on Sports Broadcasting Copyright

17 June 2026 – The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), through the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD), under the direction of Pol. Lt. Gen. Nattasak Chaowanat, Commissioner of the Central Investigation Bureau, and Pol. Maj. Gen. Investigations revealed a network of websites illegally retransmitting copyrighted football broadcasts while displaying advertisements linked to online gambling platforms. Authorities subsequently conducted searches at two locations in Phetchabun and Samut Sakhon provinces, leading to the arrest of two suspects who admitted to managing the websites. The suspects reportedly generated approximately 300,000–500,000 baht per month from online advertising sales. Computers, mobile phones, and data servers were seized as evidence.

Further investigation led officers to a second network operating in Udon Thani Province. Authorities identified a website serving as a source of unauthorized streaming links and carrying advertisements connected to more than 20 gambling-related websites. Two additional suspects were arrested: Mr. Rojanarin (surname withheld), a system programmer and administrator, and Ms. Kannika (surname withheld), an advertising coordinator. The pair allegedly earned between 1–2 million baht per month from the operation. Officers seized computers, servers, and 480,000 baht in cash during the raid.

In total, four suspects were arrested as part of the operation. They have been charged with offenses related to organizing, advertising, and promoting unauthorized online gambling activities through electronic media, in violation of applicable laws.

The operation highlights the strong cooperation between CIB, JAS, and MONO in protecting intellectual property rights, combating unauthorized sports content distribution, and preventing the use of illegal online platforms as channels for gambling-related promotion. The initiative also reinforces efforts to foster a safer and more sustainable digital ecosystem for legitimate content providers and rights holders.
