MONO Welcomes Students from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok

Mono Next Public Company Limited, or MONO, a leading entertainment and global sports content company through its streaming platform Monomax and free-to-air television channel Monomax Sports TV, recently welcomed 35 students from the Radio and Television Broadcasting Program, Department of Electronic Engineering Technology, College of Industrial Technology, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB). The group was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rattanakorn Chantawarang, Associate Dean for International Relations and Special Affairs, KMUTNB.

Welcoming the students on behalf of MONO were Nanthaphan Sangchai, Assistant Director of Monomax Sports TV; Supawich Nakriang, Head of the News Editorial Department; and Tawanrung Parisuttidham, News Editor and News Anchor. During the visit, the students participated in fun activities and received exclusive Premier League prizes, while also getting an inside look at MONO’s world-class sports content production studio. They learned about the professional content production process from both on-camera and behind-the-scenes perspectives, gaining first-hand experience of how sports programs are produced.

The students also had the opportunity to observe the live production of “Sports Today,” hosted by talented news anchor and presenter Dao–Apisara Kerdchuchuen, giving them a closer look at the professional broadcasting environment. An Exclusive Meeting with a World Champion A special highlight of the visit was an exclusive opportunity to meet Petchkoson Green Soda, the current International Boxing Federation (IBF) Light Flyweight World Champion (108 lbs.), who recently successfully defended his world title for the second time. He is also recognized as Thailand’s 50th world boxing champion.

The students were able to meet the champion in person and hear directly about his experiences. They also had an exclusive opportunity to step in front of the camera, practice delivering a real news announcement, and operate professional broadcasting equipment alongside the MONO Next production team.

Exploring MONO STADIUM The visit continued at MONO STADIUM on Chaeng Watthana–Chaiyaphruek Road, Nonthaburi, an event venue that hosts the popular “WATCH PARTY” experience, where football fans can enjoy free live screenings of English Premier League matches every Saturday and Sunday on a giant screen.

MONO STADIUM has also previously hosted major football and volleyball events, allowing fans to experience the excitement of watching major sporting events together on a large screen.

The educational field trip provided the students with valuable knowledge, hands-on experiences, and an inspiring glimpse into the professional world of sports broadcasting, content production, and live entertainment, creating an enjoyable and memorable experience for all participants.
