Exclusive Experience! Thai Football Fans Get Up Close with the Premier League Trophy

On September 2, 2026, Jasmine International Public Company Limited (JAS), the exclusive official rights holder for the live broadcast of the Premier League and Emirates FA Cup in Thailand, together with Monomax, the official live-streaming platform, created a historic experience for Thai football fans through “JAS FAN CONNECT: Premier League Trophy Experience.” The event brought the authentic Premier League Trophy to Thailand for public display, giving fans an unprecedented opportunity to get up close to the iconic trophy at the first such experience of the 2026/27 season, held at Jasmine International Building on Chaeng Watthana Road. The event was filled with excitement, vibrant energy, and the grandeur of English football.

The opening ceremony was attended by senior executives, led by Dr. Soraj Asavaprapha, Chief Executive Officer of Jasmine International Public Company Limited; Mr. Bannasit Rakwong, Chief Operating Officer of Mono Next Public Company Limited; Ms. Nedpanit Potarakul, Chief Content Production Officer of Mono Next Public Company Limited; Dr. Trin Thavitharanont, Chief Digital Officer of Thailand Post Co., Ltd.; and Mr. Somsak Lamor, Deputy Mayor of Pak Kret City Municipality. Together, they created a special moment for football fans while preparing to discuss collaboration among relevant sectors to expand exclusive privileges and benefits for Monomax members in the future.

The centerpiece of the event was the authentic Premier League Trophy, crafted from sterling silver. The trophy stands 104 centimeters tall, 61 centimeters wide, and weighs 25.4 kilograms. Its crown is made of 24-karat gold-plated silver, while the base is crafted from green Malachite, symbolizing the grass of a football pitch and featuring engraved names of the championship-winning teams. The trophy was designed around the concept of the “Three Lions of English Football,” with two lions positioned on either side of the handles. When the captain of the winning team lifts the trophy above their head, the captain becomes the “third lion”—a powerful symbol of the ultimate achievement sought by all 20 Premier League clubs.

Bringing the authentic Premier League Trophy to Thailand marks another remarkable milestone, allowing Thai football fans to experience the prestige and excitement of the Premier League beyond the screen. Under the concept “Connecting Every Cheer… to a Moment Closer to the Real Championship Trophy,” JAS and its partners are committed to delivering world-class football experiences to Thai sports fans throughout the new season.

Follow the action and cheer on your favorite team to see who will be crowned the 2026/27 Premier League champions on Monomax. Stay tuned for details of upcoming activities across the social media channels of JAS Group and Monomax Sports.

MONOMAX Joins Forces with Thailand’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Society to Combat FIFA World Cup 2026 Copyright Infringement

Ms. Boonthida Somchai, Deputy Minister of Digital Economy and Society (MDES), together with Mr. Navamin Prasopnet, Chief Executive Officer of Mono Next Public Company Limited, and Ms. Nedpanit Potarakul, Chief Content Officer and Director of Monomax Sports TV, held a meeting to discuss measures to prevent and suppress illegal websites, online gambling platforms, and copyright infringement related to the live broadcasting of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The initiative aims to strengthen public-private cooperation in accelerating the shutdown of illegal platforms.

Ms. Boonthida stated that MDES places high priority on combating online crime, copyright infringement, and online gambling, particularly during the FIFA World Cup 2026. Between 10 and 24 June 2026, the Ministry’s Illegal Website Monitoring Center blocked a total of 12,671 URLs associated with illegal activities. Of these, 4,496 URLs were blocked under court orders, while another 8,175 URLs were taken down through cooperation with Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube.

As the official rights holder for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the Premier League broadcasts in Thailand, Mono Next Public Company Limited is integrating its monitoring information with the Illegal Website Monitoring Center to enable the immediate blocking of platforms found violating copyright laws, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of law enforcement.

Ms. Boonthida added that MDES maintains 24-hour surveillance and enforcement operations while working closely with private-sector partners to swiftly block illegal websites, minimizing their impact on the public, society, and Thailand’s digital economy. Members of the public who encounter online gambling websites during the FIFA World Cup 2026 are encouraged to report them via the GCC Hotline 1111, extension 87, available 24 hours a day, or by email at csoc@mdes.go.th.

Meanwhile, JAS and MONO continue to promote the legal consumption of world-class sports content through Monomax Sports TV, which offers comprehensive coverage of major international sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup 2026, the Premier League, the Emirates FA Cup, Volleyball World, and the UEFA EURO. The initiative also seeks to raise awareness among Thai businesses about the importance of respecting intellectual property rights and consuming licensed content legally.
