Mono Welcomes Two Educational Institutions for a Study Visit at Mono29

Mono Group welcomed first-year students from the Faculty of Communication Arts at Dhurakij Pundit University and students from the GIFT Program of Thung Song School, Nakhon Si Thammarat, who participated in an English Excursion activity to gain hands-on experience in the media industry. The study visit took place at Mono Studio, Nonthaburi, on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. On this occasion, Ms. Nanthaphan Sangchai, Assistant Station Director, warmly welcomed the participants and provided an overview of Mono Group, including the station’s news operations under the regulations of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), particularly in the production of business news.

The station’s news team, including Mr. Nonthakrit Klomklorm, News Anchor and Executive Editor; Mr. Supawich Nakriang, Head of News Editorial; and Ms. Tawanrung Parisuttidham, News Anchor, also shared their knowledge and experience on the news production process. Topics included research and fact-checking, program structure, the background of news programs aired on MONO29, the differences between producing news for On Air and online platforms, as well as the ethics and responsibilities of news producers.

Participants were also given a behind-the-scenes tour of the newsroom and observed the live program production process up close. The activity was held in two sessions: the morning session for students from Dhurakij Pundit University and the afternoon session for students from Thung Song School.

The Miss Thailand Organization, led by Ms. Piyaporn Saengkosik, President of TPN Global Co., Ltd., together with Mr. Apichart Sarabann, Deputy Governor of Trang Province; representatives from the Vajiravudh College Alumni Association; and Ms.Nanthaphan Sangchai, Assistant Director of MONO29 Television Station, in his capacity as the official broadcaster of the Miss Thailand pageant, along with representatives from both the public and private sectors, led the Miss Thailand contestants on a courtesy visit to the Prime Minister to receive guidance and encouragement for the upcoming activities of the competition. The Prime Minister appointed Ms. Chanida Kasemsuk, Deputy Secretary-General to the Prime Minister for Administration, as the representative to welcome the delegation. The meeting took place on January 30, 2026, at Government House.

For the Miss Thailand 2026 pageant, Trang Province has been honored as the host of the contestants’ training camp, scheduled to take place from February 10–16, 2026, under the concept “Inspired by Queen Mother.” The program aims to reflect Thailand’s cultural identity and promote the nation’s Soft Power within a contemporary context. MONO29 Television Station will broadcast live coverage of the pageant and all activities throughout the training period, including the grand final round on February 22, 2026, at Chaengwattana Hall, Central Chaengwattana Shopping Center, where the winner will be crowned Miss Thailand 2026, the 57th Miss Thailand of the Kingdom of Thailand.

Ministry of Culture Launches Two Measures to Propel Thai Film and Digital Content onto the Global Stage

The announcement took place on January 27, 2026, at SCBX Next Stage, Siam Paragon, during a press conference titled “Measures to Promote Film Production in Thailand and Incentives for Foreign Digital Content Production.” The event was presided over by Ms. Sabida Thaiset, Minister of Culture, who also unveiled the new framework under the “Thai Film Production Promotion Measures B.E. 2569 (2026).”

Reaffirming its status as a trusted and high-quality news channel beloved by audiences, the news presenter team from MONO29 Television, led by Mr. Ake–Nonthakrit Klomklorm, Executive Editor-in-Chief and News Anchor, proudly attended the prestigious 11th Kinnaree Thong Maha Chon Awards 2026. The award ceremony was held on the evening of January 23 at the riverside event area of Terminal 21 Rama 3, along the Chao Phraya River.

The event was filled with a lively atmosphere, attended by celebrities, influencers, and distinguished guests from various fields. On this special night, the MONO29 news team was honored with the “Popular News Program Hosts” award. Representing the team were Mr. Tuay–Phakaphong Udomkalayalux, Ms. Noon–Tawanrung Parisuttidham, and Ms. Gukguk–Ampika Chuanpreecha from the program “Khao Phrom Buak” (News Plus). The award recipients expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the management team and loyal viewers for their continued support.

The Kinnaree Thong Maha Chon Awards are organized by the Organization for the Promotion of Education and Culture of Thailand in collaboration with the Pan Namjai Aun Ai Rak Club. MONO29 Joins National Media Network to Elevate Real-Time Reporting of the 2026 General Election

MONO29 has joined a major collaborative initiative led by the Digital Television Broadcasting Association (Thailand), the Online News Producers Association, the Election Commission of Thailand (ECT), Thai PBS, and a broad network of partners from the public sector, private sector, and civil society. The collaboration aims to prepare for real-time reporting of the 2026 General Election and National Referendum, scheduled for 8 February 2026.

A press conference announcing the cooperation was held on 7 January 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Convention Hall, Building D, Thai PBS Headquarters on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Bangkok. Ms. Nanthaphan Sangchai, Assistant Director, and Ms. Tawanrung Parisuttidham, news anchor from MONO29, attended the event as representatives of the station. The initiative is driven by a shared goal to deliver fast, accurate, and transparent election results. Immediately after polling stations close at 5:00 p.m., the real-time reporting system will be activated through a nationwide network of more than 10,000 volunteers, coordinated by the Thai PBS Citizen Journalism Team in collaboration with VOTE62, with additional support from students and faculty members of Thammasat University.

The project further enhances reporting standards by enabling direct data connectivity with the Election Commission of Thailand, supported by a national-level data processing system. This ensures that media organizations across all platforms receive the same unified dataset, allowing for comprehensive and consistent unofficial election result reporting until the vote count is fully completed.

In addition, the project invites public participation through the recruitment of “Election Result Reporting Volunteers”, encouraging citizens to take part in strengthening transparency and public trust in the electoral process. Interested participants can register today via the provided QR code and follow updates through the network of 25 partner media organizations.

Dao Apisara and Ake Nonthakrit, representatives from MONO29 Television Channel, joined the event “Books & Digital Libraries for Youth” to support learning at Chaipitthayaphat School, Chai Pattana Foundation (Charuwatnanukul, Tha Phra) The event was honored by Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, who presided over the ceremony, along with the university’s executives, artists, actors, and publishing representatives. Together, they brought encouragement and warm smiles to the students on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the G Floor Hall, Chamchuri Square Building.

The donation included non-perishable food and daily necessities such as instant noodles, chili paste, canned fish, mosquito repellent, trousers, socks, and other essential items. The handover ceremony was attended by Lt. Gen. Boonsin Padklang, Commander of the 2nd Army Area, 2nd Army Region Headquarters at Suranaree Camp, Nakhon Ratchasima; Maj. Gen. Attachai Raksasilp, Commander of the 21st Military Circle; and Assoc. Prof. Areerat Raksasilp, President of the Army Wives Association, 21st Military Circle Branch, who jointly received the donations on June 15, 2025 at Suranaree Camp, Nakhon Ratchasima.
