The atmosphere on New Year’s Eve, welcoming the arrival of the New Year, was filled with happiness and unforgettable moments at “Pattaya Countdown 2026”, held at Pattaya Beach (Central Pattaya). Hundreds of thousands of people—both Thai residents and international tourists—gathered along the entire beachfront to celebrate the historic moment of stepping into a new year together.

The excitement of the final night (December 31) reached its peak during the countdown to 2026, honored by the presence of distinguished executives and officials, led by Mr. Wittaya Khunpluem, President of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization; Mr. Poramase Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya; Mr. Sakan Phonluekin, Deputy President of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization; Mr. Apichart Chan-hom, Director of the Tourism and Sports Division; Mr. Chaiwat Tamtai, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Pattaya Office); Mr. Nawamin Prasopnet, Chief Executive Officer of Mono Next Public Company Limited; Ms. Nedpanit Potarakul, Chief Content Officer and Managing Director of MONO29 Television Channel; Mr. Bannasit Rakwong, Chief Operating Officer of Mono Next Public Company Limited; and Ms. Sornwaros Buddharoenlak, Marketing Communication Manager of Tripetch Isuzu Sales Co., Ltd., along with members of the Chonburi Provincial Council and other honored guests. All took to the stage to join the public in counting down to welcome the year 2569 B.E. (2026).

As the first moments of the New Year 2026 arrived, the sky above Pattaya Bay was illuminated by a magnificent fireworks display. The spectacular show filled the skyline of Pattaya with dazzling lights, colors, and sound for a full 10 minutes, creating awe, excitement, and smiles among everyone in attendance. The event once again reinforced Pattaya’s image as a world-class landmark of happiness and global celebrations.
