27/2018 MONO BASKETBALL DREAM

Professional basketball players from “Mono Vampire” and “Mono Thewphaingarm” led by Ittichai Reamsoongnern (Boom), Nattipong Srikhot (Pae), Jonathan Charles Haas (Jo), Nattakarn Muangboon (Arm) and Chaiwat Kaedum (Yak) went to the Bangkapi School in Bangkok to teach basketball techniques to children. About 80 students took part in and learnt some basketball techniques of dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending. This project aims to give improvement in basketball techniques and give inspirations to children to become professional basketball players.

Mono Group greeted H.R.H Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn

Mono Group greeted H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in the occasion that H.R.H. visited and followed the progress of the operation on a Royal project at Ban Nam Daeng Border Patrol Police School, Khlung District, Chanthaburi Province. Ms. Benjawan Rakwong, Vice President of Administration Department and Executive Director of Mono Group, Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Senior Manager of CSR Department, and the people from Dr. Phichani Bodharamik Foundation for Children and Seniors led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phichani Bodharamik, the President of the foundation, bestowed the money upon H.R.H. as contribution for charity works in a total of 100,000 Baht. Mono Technology PCL. under Mono Group had also donated 100,000 Baht to the school for the construction of Mono Group Building 8. The opening ceremony of the building was held last year.

Ms. Kanyapat Suksamarn, Assistant Vice President of Publishing Business of Mono Generation Co., Ltd. and Ms. Supatra Mansawaeng – the photographer, were the representatives of “GEEK BOOK”, a publisher under Mono Group, to give a donation of 100,000 Baht (one hundred thousand Baht) to “Operation Smile Thailand”. The donation came from the income of the total views of the video clip “Organic Smile photoshoots – Behind the Screen” on website Seeme.me plus the income after deducting selling expenses of the book “Organic Smile”. Ms. Jaruwan Janphen, Senior Resources Development Manager, was the representative of the foundation to receive the donation, and then everyone took pictures together. The event took place at Studio 2 on the fifth floor of Jasmine International Tower, Chaengwattana Rd.

Mr. Navamin Prasopnet, Assistant Chairman and Chief Marketing Officer of Mono Technology PCL. and President of Mono Broadcast Company Limited, along with Mr. Bannasit Rakwong, General Manager of MONO29 digital TV channel, held a press conference on “Business Trend of MONO29 in 2018” under the concept “Blockbuster Movies – Premium TV Series”, a world class entertainment. In this event, the channel presented its new international movie studio partners including FOX, DreamWorks Animation, and Lionsgate, plus world class sport content like NBA. Not only targets to be the second top rated TV channel, but within this year, MONO29 also prepares to move its ad rate to 40,000 Baht per minute from the average of 28,000 Baht per minute. The press conference took place at Studio 1, at Stadium29, Chaiyapruk Rd., Nonthaburi.

Mr. Sang Do Lee, CEO of Mono Technology PCL., Mr. Jirun Rattanawiriyachai, Senior Vice President of Mono Sport Entertainment Co., Ltd., Mr. Taschai Sansanapittayakorn, President of Professional Basketball Sport Association of Thailand and President of Professional Basketball League, Lt Col Ruj Sang-Udom, Deputy Governor for Professional Sports and Privileges of Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), Mr. Boonrak Yodphet, Secretary-General of the Office of the Basic Education Commission (Obec), and Mr. Niphon Chawalitmontien, President of Basketball Sport Association of Thailand, held a press conference on “Thailand Basketball Road Map 2018” presenting five basketball leagues which will be held this year. Information about Mono Group CSR activities in 2018 was also given in this occasion.

Aiming to increase the popularity of Thailand basketball leagues in long term, the activity encourages amateur players to improve their skills in order to play in professional level and become the national team players capable of competing in international basketball leagues. The press conference was held at Stage 1, MONO Studio 29, Chaiyapruk Rd.
