Closing out the lively Songkran festivities, MONO29, in collaboration with the Khon Kaen Municipality, organized the grand “MONO29 KHONKAEN SONGKRAN WET&FUN 2024” event. This Songkran celebration brought together a plethora of artists to ignite the fun over three full days. This year, it was evident that the public enthusiastically participated in the water festivities, especially at the MONO29 stage on Khao Niew Road in Khon Kaen Province (City Gate Zone, Friendship Road side). Crowds of people joyfully splashed water together, filling every corner of Khao Niew Road.

 

 

The event featured friendly human wave activities, with many exciting prizes up for grabs, including 1 All New Mitsubishi Triton Mega Cab and 2 Yamaha Finn motorcycles. The lucky winners of the All New Mitsubishi Triton Mega Cab were Mr. Pratathorn Phichatchol and the Yamaha Finn motorcycles went to Mr. Apisit Pasawata and Mr. Sompong Jai-on, amidst the festive atmosphere of the Thai New Year celebration.

Khon Kaen Province, in collaboration with MONO29 and its network affiliates, is taking strides to revive the ultimate Northeastern Thai tradition of Songkran Festival. The Dok Koon Sang Kaen Festival will take place at Bung Kaen Nakhon and Sticky Rice Road, annually on March 27th, 2024, under the theme ‘Spreading the Essence of Khon Kaen. In addition to the cultural revival activities, MONO29 channel is orchestrating an extravagant stage with the ‘MONO29 KHON KAEN SONGKRAN Wet & Fun 2024‘ free concert, featuring a plethora of artists such as Pop Pongkool, Zani, Tono, Peck Palitchoke, Pexky Sretunya, Ble Patumrach, MONO ORIGINAL Big M, Tungpang, Nike, Nina, P-Saderd, Engfa, and Show Team Academy. This event will be held at Sticky Rice Road, Friendship Gate Zone, with exciting prizes including cars and motorcycles up for grabs. from April 13th to 15th, 2024.

Finally, the Khon Kaen Municipality invites Thai and international tourists to join in creating memorable experiences at the highlight of the festival, promoting a ‘Fun, Safe, and Alcohol-free’ environment during the Dok Koon Sang Kaen and Sticky Rice Road Songkran Festival, from April 8th to 15th, 2024.”
