MONO GROUP DELIVERED THE FIFTH BASKETBALL COURT

Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Assistant Vice President of CSR Department of Mono Group, together with Mr. Somyot Lakboon, the principle of Bueng Bun School, attended the opening of the school basketball court. The basketball court of Bueng Bun School in Sisaket was the fifth basketball court renovation supported by Mono Group. In this activity, Mono Group led Thailand national basketball players from Mono Vampire, including Yao – Arnat Phuangla, Pee – Peeranat Semeesuk and Guy – Kantapat Saridnet, to go on a basketball clinic roadshow “Mono Basketball Dream”. Many children from four schools in Sisaket excitedly joined the event.

In addition to this, Mono Group targets to renovate/build more basketball courts and contribute basketball boards, as well as continues with Mono Basketball Dream project in order to support basketball in Thailand. OPENING OF “THAILAND PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL LEAGUE 2019”

Mr. Jirun Rattanawiriyachai, Director of Thai Professional Basketball League Company Limited, Dr. Kongsak Yodmanee, Governor for Sports Authority of Thailand, along with Mr. Niphon Chawalitmontien, President of Basketball Sport Association of Thailand, held a press conference about the opening ceremony of “Thailand Professional Basketball League 2019” (TPBL). In this occasion, the management and the players of 6 basketball teams attended the event, along with the executives from Toyota, the main sponsor of this competition. The venue for the press conference was Studio Stage1, GSB Staduim29.

The establishment of Thai Professional Basketball League Co., Ltd. is the cooperation of 6 leading basketball clubs in Thailand with the same purpose to develop Thai profession basketball industry systematically and sustainably. The basketball clubs include:

  1. Mono Warriors Basketball Club
  2. Mono Scorpion Chanthaburi Basketball Club
  3. PEA Club
  4. SWU Basketball Club
  5. Korasaurus Nakhon Ratchasima Basketball Club
  6. Hi-Tech Basketball Club

Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Assistant Vice President CSR of Mono Technology Public Company, along with representatives of players from “Mono Vampire Basketball Club” shared opportunity for children from Sompoy Phittayakom School in Sisaket. In this activity, children were taught some basketball techniques, and basketball board was given under the project “Basketball Project by CSR MONO”. Mr. Thanakrit Ketchailert, the Principal of Sompoy Phittayakom School, and Sisaket people welcomed the group at Sompoy Phittayakom School Sisaket Province. NBA JUNIOR SELECTION CAMP THAILAND

Mr. Sang Do Lee, Managing Director, and Mr. Krittikorn Kairusmee, Assistant Vice President of Mono Sport Entertainment Co., Ltd. under Mono Group, welcomed Mr. Michael Morerose, Marketing Director, Ms. Helen Lee, Marketing Manager, Mr. Vladimir Radmanovic, the former NBA player of Golden State Warriors, and NBA staff as they visited Mono Group’s office and the executives on the 31st floor of Jasmine International Tower, Chaengwattana Rd.

Aiming to provide fundamental training and teach core values of basic basketball game to Thai youth, NBA together with Mono Group held “NBA Junior Selection Camp Thailand” to improve the ability and enhance the experience of the children. In this occasion, some participants were chosen as the representatives of Thai youth to compete in the basketball competition in Jakarta, Indonesia. This sports event was held on 8-9 June, at GSB Stadium29.

Mr. Ronnakit Ekasing, Deputy President of Pattaya City, Ms. Pinnart Charoenpon, Director of Pattaya Tourism Authority of Thailand, and Mr. Navamin Prasopnet, MD of Mono Broadcast Co.,Ltd. (MONO29 channel), held a press conference ‘PATTAYA Music Festival 2019’. The grand music festival held on 14-15 June was organized under the theme 60 long years with the legend of Music on the Beach. In this year, tourists could tremendously enjoy various styles of music from 3 splendid stages on Central Pattaya Beach, North Pattaya Beach, and Jomtien Beach. The music event was held to celebrate 60 years of Pattaya Tourism.

Being held for the third year, OBEC – MONO Champion Cup 2019, the basketball league for students, is organized to raise the potential of children and improve their basketball ability, so that they can be great players of Thailand sport industry. In this event, Mr. Jirun Rattanawiriyachai, Senior Vice President of Mono Sport Entertainment Company Limited, along with Mr. Mana Pumbua, Deputy Director of Secondary Educational Service Area Office 3, Mr. Siwapoj Rattanasomboon, Director of The Parent – Teacher Association of Benjamarachanusorn School, and Mr. Praphan Sunetworakul, Director of Benjamarachanusorn School, honorably participated the opening ceremony. The qualifiers for the winners of Bangkok Metropolitan Region (Bangkok and Nonthaburi) took place at Benjamarachanusorn School basketball court, on 4-12 June 2019. The 4 winning teams of each category will progress to the next round.

“MONO29” together with “MONO MAX” and “MONO ORIGINALS” held the activity “BLOOD DONATION WITH BANGKOK VAMPIRE SERIES”. Stars of the series including Arnon Saisangjan (Pu Blackhead), Nui – Kessarin Ektawatkul, and Sam Chotibund, along with kind-hearted volunteers lined up to donate blood at The Thai Red Cross Society. In this occasion, Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Assistant Vice President CSR and Internal Communication Department of Mono Group, presented a donation of 100,000 Baht to Cdr. Ubonwon Charoonruangrit, M.D., Director of National Blood Centre at The Thai Red Cross Society.

Mr. Siri Luengsawat, the consultant producer of “Mono Originals” together with the management of The Pig The Dog and The Rabbit Co., Ltd. including Chaninthon Ulit, Kimhant Kanjanasomjai, Kunrat Rodsampan, with stars from “The Exchange”, such as Pae – Arak Amornsupasiri, Kitty – Chicha Amatayakul, Wit – Pacharapon Chanteang, Beam – Sarunyu Prachakrit, Vaan – Chanintorn Jitpreeda, Wo – Jirawat Wachirasarunpat, Tod – Todsapon Siriwiwat, Been – Julasak Hankunaseth, etc. , and “Chalerm Wongpim”, the director, attended the worship ceremony for the movie at Jasmine International Tower.

“The Exchange” is an extreme action movie telling the story of two lovers, Joe (starring Pae) and May (starring Kitty), who accidentally decided to rob “VERY RICH”, a money exchange shop, to get money for brain tumor treatment for their lover. However, instead of robbing, an unexpected incident happened when they met “the real robbers” and both became one of the hostages of the 3 criminals. The movie will soon be aired on “MONO29” channel, as well as website and application “Monomax”, the leader of copyright online videos under Mono Group.

OPENING OF “SPORT EXPO BURIRAM”

Dr. Kongsak Yodmanee, Governor for Sports Authority of Thailand, presided over the opening ceremony of “SPORT EXPO BURIRAM”. In this event, Mr. Sang Do Lee, Managing Director of Mono Sport Entertainment Co., Ltd. under Mono Group, led a team of professional basketball players from “Mono Vampire Basketball Club” to take part in the Basketball Clinic. Some of the players joining the event included Nopporn Saengtong, Chitchai Ananti, Tawatchai Suktub, Sorot Sunthonsiri, Teerawat Chanthachon, Narathip Boonserm, Niyomkan Come-O, Supakrit Thitikunrat, Poramet Intaranam, Chakrit Makmeesiri, Jatupon Supab, Supanat Thammakantipong, Pakorn Maneechot, Piyamin Sukanya, Sahatsawat Inmaphan, Kantapat Saritnet, Apisittinan Dasom, etc. The players taught basic basketball skills and some techniques to children who participated the activity which took place at Thunder Castle Stadium, Buriram.

UGLY DOLLS GALA PREMIERE

Mono Film Co., Ltd. together with Major Cineplex turned the Infinity Hall on 5th floor of Siam Paragon into the colorful town of Ugly Dolls in “Ugly Dolls Thailand Gala Premiere”. The people who presided over the opening of the movie were Mr. Krittawit Rimtheparthip, Assistant Vice President – Head of Movie Distribution and Mr. Varuth Asawasathaporn, Marketing Manager of Mono Film Co., Ltd., along with Mr. Anusorn Tongkitladawanchai, Marketing Manager of Major Cineplex Group PCL., Mr. Paween Jatananon, General Manager of Milch (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and Mr. Poly Choy, Thailand Country Manager of Hasbro Co., Ltd.

The premiere was bright and colorful with the replica of “Ugly Ville” from Ugly Dolls and a special show from invited guests, “New – Napassorn Phoothornjai” and “Jew – Piyanut Sueachongpru” who sang the song “Unbreakable”, a soundtrack from the movie. “PK – Piyawat Kempetch”, the host of the premiere, interviewed “Most – Witsarut Himmarat, Mean – Phiravich Attachitsataporn, and UrboyTJ – Jirayut Paloprakarn” who shared their experience of dubbing animation for the first time. Enjoy the movie “Ugly Dolls”, May 2, in Theaters.
