“MONO29 HAPPY BOX PROJECT”

“MONO29 HAPPY BOX PROJECT”

“MONO29 HAPPY BOX PROJECT”, a cooperation between MONO29 Channel and MThai under Mono Next, the project was launched for viewers who are suffering from the outbreak to register on Facebook Fanpage MONO29, Mono29 News, and MThai to get the “HAPPY BOX”, a box of consumer goods for viewers and the people in construction camps, for free as an emotional support. A few days after the registration, the number of people filling the form was more than expected. Consequently, the process has been changed by counting the total number of registration at the end of the project, and then allocating the budget from the income of MONO29 News totally over 5 million Baht to purchase more consumer goods for all the households registered in the project.

Mr. Bannasit Rakwong (General Manager of MONO29 TV Channel) said, “The starting of “MONO29 Happy Box Project” was that we allocated the products from our sponsors and established a registration for people to register and inform about their troubles and problems, then the registrations will be selected and we will send the “Happy Box” to their doorsteps. Anyway, there were totally 6,500 suffering households registered, and from all the messages sent to the channel as well as the additional interviews, we found that each household is suffering and we sympathized and wanted to help as much as we could. So, we discussed with the executives under Mono Next and agreed that we should help every household. As a result, we decided to allocate the budget from the income of the news program totally over 5 million Baht to buy additional products to meet the number of registered households and prepared to deliver them as soon as possible. The help will be divided for two groups which are the public and the people in construction camps that the staff teams of MONO29 news and MThai had visited to get the news report on the outbreak of COVID-19. We should help this group too. We are also grateful to Thailand Post for the free delivery support as well as the transportation of the Happy Box from MONO29. Thanks to supporters from every companies who sent consumer goods to join this emotional support project. MONO29, MThai, MONOMAX, and all subsidiaries under Mono Next wish everyone will get through this crisis as fast as possible.”
