E29 MUSIC joins the “SPOGOMI WORLD CUP 2025 THAILAND Qualifiers”

Emerging idol group “THX,” led by BamBam, Tata, and Ray, participated in the “SPOGOMI WORLD CUP 2025 THAILAND Qualifiers.” The event was organized by G-Yu Creative in collaboration with Siam Piwat and both private and public sector partners. This second qualifying round in Thailand took place at Parc Paragon, Siam Paragon, on July 13, 2025.

The aim was to select Thailand’s representatives to compete on the world stage in Tokyo, Japan this November. Many artists, celebrities, influencers, and youth from across the country participated. “SPOGOMI” combines “Sport” and “Gomi” (garbage) – it is a sport originating from Japan where participants collect trash competitively, with the goal of instilling an environmentally friendly mindset in a fun and creative way. The activity is part of the global initiative “Change for the Blue.”

The initiative has been promoted since November 2018 as part of the “Ocean and Japan Project,” aiming for “Zero Marine Waste.” Many artists joined the qualifiers, including Team A2T (Move Along Journey), Team KPG (GMMTV), Team Green Earth (Kongthup Artist), Team Ai(r) moment (Bibbidii Entertainment), Team FRT Entertainment, Team MINDY SAVE THE WORLD (MINDY), Team Ganbatte がんばって, Team Party Phukla Phraewa, Team Cupcake Cream Lemon (Euphonie, IKINARI TELL ME, Sumomo), and Team THX.

BamBam, Tata, and Ray from THX shared their thoughts on participating: “We are so happy to be part of SPOGOMI WORLD CUP 2025. This is a global event that’s not only fun but also raises awareness about environmental protection. Picking up trash today feels like exercising for the planet, helping to build a better society.” “This is not just an ordinary garbage-picking competition, but an activity that truly represents the value of taking action for our world. As new-generation artists, we want to use our voices to inspire others to see that protecting the environment isn’t far from us. It starts with small things we can do every day.”

“We want to encourage the younger generation to help take care of the environment. We believe that changing the world starts with small things close to us, like putting trash in the right place or separating waste correctly. It might seem minor, but if everyone helps, it will create a huge impact.” “We want to invite everyone to start easily with small actions around them, like carrying a cloth bag or reducing plastic use. We may be just one person, but that one person can create ripples for the environment.”
