Mono Next continues its streak of participating in meaningful projects with its involvement in the “reBOX” initiative organized by Thailand Post and its partners. This initiative aims to transform unused old paper boxes into valuable and beneficial items for society. Most recently, Ms.Pitirudee Sirisamphan , SVP of Corporate Affairs and Communications at Mono Next Public Company Limited, received a World Appreciation Certificate from Dr Dhanant Subhadrabandhu , Chief Executive Officer of Thailand Post Co., Ltd, at the “Send Happiness, Send Love”


event, where they delivered “Touchable Love Boxes” as a friendly organization participating in the reBOX EP.4 campaign. Mono Next joined this project to align with the MONO NEXT CARE and ESG strategies regarding waste reduction and valuable resource utilization, contributing to environmental sustainability and continuous development.

On Febuary 14, Mono Next Public Company Limited has collaborated to deliver items in good condition, such as clothing, books, toys, etc., contributed by executives and employees, to The Mirror Foundation in line with the operational approach of MONO NEXT CARE. This approach emphasizes the value of utilizing resources by repurposing items for new benefits, forwarding goods to those in need, or using them for various projects of the foundation in the future. The donation was received by representatives from The Mirror Foundation at Mono Next Office, Chaiyapruek Rd., Nonthaburi.

‘National Fishing Day’ to Honor HM Queen Mother

On September 14, 2023, Mr.Kittisak Pukcharoen, Assistant Vice President of CSR and Internal Communications, Mono Next Public Company Limited, along with Mono29 and MonoMax businesses, together with TV hosts from Rush Stories on 3BB GIGATV under Mono Next, namely, Prae – Chutima Bunsawa, Jeffy – Jirapat Maneerat, and Mind Awika Somsanoh jointly released fish and other aquatic animals to honor HM Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother and remembered the National Fishing Day observed annually on September 21.

 

 

On this occasion, Mr.Suthee Thongyam, Nonthaburi Governor presided over this event, together with Mr.Prasertsak Cherngchawano, Deputy Governor-Corporate Strategy of The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), Mr.Sutham Limpanich, Director of Nonthaburi Fisheries Provincial Office, including government officers, group of teachers and students, the general public, and partners jointly participated in this activity in order to raise the awareness of how valuable aquatic resources are and create a sense of responsibility to preserve and rehabilitate aquatic animals and resources in a bid to get the most out of them in a sustainable manner. The event took place at the bank of the Chao Phraya River, North Bangkok Power Plant, Nonthaburi.

Mr.Kittisak Pukchareon, Assistant Vice President of CSR and Internal Communication of Mono Next Public Company Limited, together with Omelet – Siriyakorn Theerathongdee and Fern – Pakapon Pitaksanonkul, VJ from Mono29 Music Station including volunteers from Mono Next and its subsidiaries to jointly contribute to “Planting for the Planet” project. On this occasion, Mr.Sinchai Aonyoo, a village philosopher and the president of the Association for the Development of Environmental Quality (Thailand), Khun Prathomkarn Uam-Ong, a mayor of Bang Muang Subdistrict, Nonthaburi, and Phra Kru Winaithorn Phanumart Phanupano, the Abbot of Wat Amphawan.

Our partnership in this activity also included the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Volunteer Network (NEV), Nonthaburi Province, the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, Thai-German Pre-Engineering School KMUTNB, Ban Bang Muang Subdistrict Municipality Office, Nonthaburi Provincial Offices of Natural Resources And Environment, Wat Amphawan, and the local residents of Nonthaburi Province jointly joining forces to do various activities such as landscaping, lawn mowing, tree planting, bird house installation, bio-fertilizer and EM fermentation production at Wat Amphawan, Bang Yai District, Nonthaburi Province.

“Mono Next” Joins New Life BRA CYCLE Project

Mrs.Thanya Wachirabunjong, Chief Production Officer of Mono Next Public Company Limited,  Ms.Pitirudee Sirisamphan, Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Communications, together with Mono29’s actresses namely, Jennie – Naruemon Khampan, BamBam – Butree Kaljaruek, and Wan – Phirunphat Leelarthapin, were representatives on behalf of Mono Next’s executives and employees to present worn-out old bras and underwear from the internal activity “Mono Next Care: Get Me Bras and Gain Rewards”. In this activity, we encouraged employees to donate their worn-out used bras and could accumulate 1,312 pieces in total sent to Sabina Public Company Limited for its project “New Life BRA CYCLE: Transform Used Bras to Thermal Energy” where this activity has been held for three consecutive years. On this occasion, Ms.Pitcha Thanalongkorn, Chief Marketing Officer of Sabina Public Company Limited was a representative receiving those old bras and bringing them to dispose of in an environmentally friendly way to reduce environmental pollution and transform them into thermal energy for the sake of energy recovery and great sustainability of our environment at Mono Next Office, Chaiyapruek Rd., Nonthaburi.

New Life BRA CYCLE: Transform Used Bras to Thermal Energy is a project that the main purpose of its comes from a sense of social responsibility in dealing with waste from used bras and underwear, considered considerable waste, and disposing of those bras in a correct manner to reduce the effect on the environment as much as possible which is an alternative way to preserve the world. Anyone who might be interested in joining this activity, please feel free to donate used bras and underwear from any brand and any type, no matter how delicate and worn out they are, and unisex underwear is also accepted. For disposing of bras and underwear in a proper manner, please donate them at drop boxes provided in Sabina’s shops and counters located in any department store across Thailand.

Mr.Kittisak Pukcharoen, Assistant Vice President of CSR and Internal Communications of Mono Next PCL., and Ms.Chanthima Surarat, Director of the Student Affairs Office, Panyapiwat Institute of Management, including representatives of employees under Mono Next and its affiliates, a group of student volunteers from Panyapiwat Institute of Management, and partners jointly participated in “Non-Recyclable Waste Road Trip” held by PIM Recycling Business, Panyapiwat Institute of Management.

In this event, booths were available for donating used plastic bottles (PET) to recycle and presenting special rewards from Mono Next as an expression of gratitude to participants at a drop point set up by the PIM, Chaeng Wattana Rd.

“Mono Next” has carried on the “Mono Next Care: Care the World” project to encourage its employees and the general public to jointly participate in environmental protection through waste separation and donate it to help societies afterward. Recently, Mr.Kittisak Pukchareon, Assistant Vice President of CSR and Internal Communications of Mono Next Public Company Limited, was a representative on behalf of executives and employees from Mono Next and its subsidiaries to deliver Polyethylene Terephthalate or PET bottles donated from our employees amounting to 95 kilograms to “Yake Khuat Chuai Mor Nonthaburi” or PET to PPE project. On this occasion, Mr.Suthee Premboon, Director of the Environmental Affairs Division, Student Affairs Office, Panyapiwat Institute of Management, was a representative receiving those PET bottles at Mono Next Office, Chaiyapruek Road, Nonthaburi.

 

On this occasion, the “Yake Khuat Chuai Mor Nonthaburi” project will bring those PET bottles to recycle into Level 2 PPE Suits or reusable isolation gowns, which can be reused 20 times and sent to medical personnel. Furthermore, the project has been carried on for two consecutive years to comply with Mono Next Care and ESG goals regarding environmental protection.

“Mono Next” Supports “School Land Allotment for Living” Project

Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Assistant Vice President CSR and Internal Communications of Mono Next Public Company Limited, Mr.Narinthorn Senglam, Director of The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Pathum Thani, and Ms.Sarunrat Kongsakulchotika, Deputy Director and Acting Director of Soontharo Metta Prachasan School together with students from the School jointly attended “School Land Allotment for Living” project in the purpose of supporting villagers and adolescents to have their own agricultural lots to farm for a living as well as their own revenue streams. The event took place at Soontharo Metta Prachasan School, Pathum Thani Province.

This time, Mono Next Public Company Limited gave the assistance to renovate a greenhouse and farm vegetables and others in order to reduce the cost of food for students and generate revenue for the school and the village in a sustainable way at the greenhouse located in Soonthorn Prachasan School, Pathum Thani Province.

At the Pollution Control Department (PCD), Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Assistant Vice President of CSR and Internal Communications of Mono Next Public Company Limited, was a representative on behalf of executives and employees from Mono Next and its subsidiaries presenting disused aluminum waste over 20 kilograms from the “Mono Next Care” activity to the Pollution Control Department. The main purpose of this activity is to encourage our executives and employees to jointly save the environment by doing waste separation to reduce the amount of waste. Recently, Khun Phittaya Pramoteworapun, the Deputy Director – General of the Pollution Control Department, was a receiver and informed information about making prosthetics legs under the project “Donation of Disused Aluminum Material to Make Prosthetic Legs in Royal Project” by the PCD in collaboration with the Prostheses Foundation In Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra Boromarajonani.

“Mono Next” Presents Non-Biodegradable Waste to Plaplus

Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Assistant Vice President CSR and Internal Communication was a representative on behalf of executives and employees of Mono Next and its affiliated companies to present cleaned-plastic cups from Mono Next Care project, the Company’s waste separation for a recycling project, to Plaplus under the project “Send Me (Orphan Waste) Home”Mr. Wattanawit Gajaseni, Deputy Director-General, of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), and Miss Noramon Intaranont, co-founder of Plaplus, a food waste and bioplastic management solutions company, were representatives to receive the waste from Mono Next. Moreover, there are also some volunteers joining this activity to receive non-biodegradable waste from the general public via the drive-thru at Chaeng Watthana Government Complex, Lak Si District, Bangkok.

For those non-biodegradable waste, it will be delivered to its source at N15 Technology’s factory to go through the process of waste management; segregation, treatment, and recycling into “greener fuels”. Then, those greener fuels will be used as renewable energy to replace fossil fuels for the operations of power plants, and cement factories, also the arrangements for sending those non-biodegradable waste will be made every two months.
