MONO29 Give Hug and Share Love

Another impressive activity launched under MONO29 Big Entertainment campaign was held to serve every Thai household with a real big entertainment. MONO29, the “Free TV with the most number of Great Movies and Popular TV Series” offered fun and delight to Thai people since the early year with Valentine’s Day activity “MONO29 Give Hug and Share Love”, on Saturday, February 14th, 2015. The parade of cosplay characters carried out the promotional tour around Bangkok to give hug at JJ Weekend Market, Paragon Park at Siam Paragon, Rotfai Night Market Ratchada. The event also allowed people to donate 29 Baht to raise funds for Operation Smile Foundation (Thailand).

As always it received a lot of attention from people passing by. With smile, they donated and got MONO29 heart pillow aside from hugging their favorite movie heroes/heroines. The donations from people with kind heart plus subsidy from MONO29 totals 29,000 Baht (Twenty-Nine Thousand Baht Only). MONO29 prepared to share love with disadvantaged children by granting the donations to the Operation Smile Foundation (Thailand) in order to make them smile and fulfill their bright future ahead.

“Operation Smile Foundation (Thailand)” provides free surgeries for children and young adults with a cleft lip and/or cleft palate and facial deformities both domestically and in neighboring countries. Operation Smile Foundation’s volunteers comprise medical professionals and community volunteers who provide aids to local children in terms of surgical and post-operative care and speech pathology therapy.

Reforestation in honor of His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen

Lt.Gen. Sathaporn Simasurarak, Chief of Engineer Department, Col. Thawon Chaiyaduan, Director of Civil Affairs as well as Mr. Setha Sirachaya, Chairman of Foundation for Senior Performing Artists Welfare and Mr. Bannasit Rakwong, Director of Mono 29 Channel, together with artists under Mono Group participated in reforestation activities on the occasion of His Majesty the King’s 87th birthday anniversary on December 5, 2014 and Her Majesty the Queen’s 82nd birthday anniversary on September 12, 2014. In addition, there were many artists joining the reforestation activity such as Pitsamai “Mee” Wilaisak, Tassawan “Yo” Seneewiong na Ayutthaya, Kornkamon “Kik” Charoenchai, Chulasinee “ Meen” Sikumma, Rujired “Mint” Boonpongsi, SPF etc. This event was held at Moo 5, Ban Thamhin, Amphur Suanphueng, Ratchaburi.

On Friday, August 29, 2014, Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Senior Manager of CSR Department of Mono Technology PCL., joined hand with Ms. Antoinette van de Water, Director of bring the Elephant Home Foundation, Ms. Dusadee Nilubol, Manager and Project Coordinator of bring the Elephant Home Foundation, Mr. Todsaphon Wichiensan, Head of Tha Thung Na Forest Protection to arrange “MThai Click Dee Tumdee Project No. 5/2014: Reforestation for Elephants and Check Dam Building” In this event, employees of Mono Group and Mthai volunteers jointly planting trees and build check dams for natural habitat conservation and restoration for elephants and other animal in the Tha Thung Na Forest, Salakpra Wildlife Sanctuary, Muang, Kanchanaburi.

Rural Development Camp in Collaboration with KMITL

During March 27-29, 2014, Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen— Senior Manager, Department of CSR and Internal Communication of Mono Technology Public Company Limited— as well as employees and volunteers of Mthai.com joined hands with members of rural development camp of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) to arrange CSR activities under the project of MThai Click Dee Tumdee Project No. 2/2014: Rural Development Camp in Collaboration with Students of KMITL at Ban Na Kluea School, Chamrak, Mueang, Trat. (In detail, this is also a part of 54th rural development camp of KMITL.) Activities included building of multi-purpose sport field, painting school fence and building as well as offering school supplies for Ban Na Kluea School. Other businesses sponsored this project include Sor. Jaroenchai Construction Materials Co., Ltd. that donated related equipment for painting school fence and building as well as Jamsai Publishing Co., Ltd. that offered books for all students.

Merit Making Ceremony on the Occasion of 9th Anniversary

Mono Group has been collaborated with the Foundation for Senior Performing Artists’ Welfare to plan special activities for strengthening relationship throughout 2014. The merit making ceremony on the occasion of 9th anniversary of Foundation for Senior Performing Artists’ Welfare, which is the first activity under the abovementioned plan, was organized on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 9.00 hrs. at Wat Phra Si Mahathat Woramahawihan. After the merit making ceremony, wrist-binding ceremony was organized by senior artists for younger generation of artists under Mono Group. This ceremony was led by Mr. Bannasit Rakwong, General Manager of Mono Production Co., Ltd. (TV Business) and Setha “Toy” Sirachaya, President of Foundation for Senior Performing Artists’ Welfare and accompanied by Mono Group executives and artists. Besides, there were many artists participating this event, such as Pisamai “Mee” Vilaisak, Tassawan “Yo” Senewong, Suda “Mouth” Chuenban, Peet Peera, Alice Apinan, Emmy Matthanita, Selina Wiesmann, G-Twenty, Candy Mafia, Evo Nine, etc. Also, artists and the press were all delighted by this merit making ceremony.

On September 27, 2013, Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Senior Manager, Department of CSR & Internal Communication, Mono Technology Public Company Limited (Mono Group) led Mono Group volunteers and MThai users to join Click Dee Tumdee Project No. 4/2013 at Ban Emad Esai School, Kanmakrood, Ban Rai, Uthai Thani.


Volunteers actively joined many activities including reforestation by filing seed bombs (with slingshot) at “Ban Mai Rom Yen” view point, nursery rehabilitation, mulberry tree planting as well as offering food and ice cream to students for lunch. This project helps grow a sense of nature conservation and local environment for all children. Mono Group would like to thank Mr. Punnapoj Sripenchan, Director of The Institute of Youth and Community Development for the Future and his team as well as Mr. Direk Srisuwan, Director of Ban Emad Esai School and the group of teachers for their assistance in facilitating this project. In addition, Mono Group Executives donated toys consisting of TV-program props that still are in good condition to students. Those toys made them smile.

Mr.Patompong Sirachairat, Director of website Mthai.com, Mr.Kittisak Pookcharoen, Senior Director of CSR Department of Mono Group, and Mr.Pimol Buapet, editor of website Mthai.com, brought teams and volunteers to attend “Click good, do good things No.13 Final Party Charity Day – Play sports between olders and youngers”. This event was to play sports, give food, and special show by Cartoon Club for kids of Duangprateep Foundation, Personality Promotion Foundation, and Suppanimit Foundation of Thailand. Also, the prize for “the best Click good person” for volunteers who continual participate the event at Gymnasium, 6th floor, Applied Sciences Building, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology at North Bangkok.

Click good, do good things No.12 – follow father’s steps activity was arranged on the last Saturday 1st December 2012. So far, volunteers from Mono Group and Mthai website worked together to create sufficient economic information source at Ban Nongpo School, Lopburee province. They built chicken houses, cat fish ponds, planting tress, and gardening, in order to be a learning source for students and community. In the afternoon, they worked together to build weir and place cement on road for more easity travelling for product transporation. All volunteers spent their best effort. Click good, do good things No.11: Restore Mai Charoen Mosque School activity was arrange don the last Friday 16th November, 2012. Mr.Patompong Sirachairat, Director of website Mthai.com, Mr.Kittisak Pookcharoen, Senior Director of CSR Department of Mono Group, and Mr.Satit Iamjit, Project Manager of website Mthai.com, brought teams and volunteers of Mono Group to put efforts together in order to restore Mai Charoen Mosque School, Pathumthanee Province, affected by flood by the end of 2011. Volunteers worked together with teachers and students of Mai Charoen Mosque School to polish, paint, clean, repair bathroom, playground, and canteen. At the end, there was recreation activity and gave prizes to create smile and fun for students and volunteers.

Click good, do good things No.9 : “Restore coastal ecology system – coral plantation” activity was just finished. This is an activity of volunteers from Rajabhat University, Ban Somdej Chaopraya, on the last 28th September, 2011. Mr. Patompong Sirachairat, Director of website Mthai.com, Mr.Kittisak Pookcharoen, Senior Director of CSR Department of Mono Group, brought over 30 volunteers from Mono Group together with 10 volunteers from many institutes including Rajabhat University, Ban Somdej Chaopraya, Huacheaw University, and Payap University to plant coral and listen to presentation about coastal ecology system at Toey Ngam Beach, Sattaheep District, Chonburi Province. It was an honor that Mr.Porn-head of tourism support department, Marin corps commander, led the lecturer to do activity and explain information as well as leave a song to emphasize coastal environment loving for new generation.
