Following an activity to invite Mono Group employees to share their happiness by collecting unused objects in daily life and donating them to The Mirror Foundation for useful purposes, recently, the representatives of Mono Group employees officially delivered objects such as clothes, books, CDs, etc. to The Mirror Foundation. In this event, Mr. Tonsakul Kongwattananon, an official of Share for Change Project under The Mirror Foundation, received the donation and thanked Mono Group employees for their kindness.

“BASKETBALL FROM HOME” ENJOY BASKETBALL LESSONS AT HOME

Vampire Basketball Club launched a project “Basketball From Home” for children and people who are interested in basketball to spend their time wisely while staying home. With Zoom application, the project provides basketball lessons taught by instructors who are national basketball players, including JO – Ratchadech Kruatiwa, Nok – Nopporn Sangtong, and Poy – Darunpong Apiromvilaichai. Basic basketball lessons and professional trainings will be presented to everyone right at home. “Basketball From Home” is available every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 16.00-17.00 hrs. MONO GROUP EMPLOYEES DELIVERED SOFT DRINK BOTTLES TO MAHASARAKHAM HOSPITAL

CSR Department of Mono Group continues to be part in helping society by delivering 750ml – 1.25L soft drink bottles donated by employees under Mono Group to Mahasarakham Hospital. The bottles will be recycled into volumetric spacers to use with bronchodilator inhalers as they help reducing the spread of medicine from the inhalers. Recently, the representatives of Mono Group sent the soft drink bottles via post to Mahasarakham Hospital for making the device.

“MONO GROUP” EMPLOYEES DONATED CLOTHES TO HELP FIGHTING FOREST FIRES IN NORTHERN THAILAND

The CSR Department of Mono Technology PCL. requested employees under Mono Group to donate long-sleeved shirts, overcoats, pants, sneakers, etc. The donation was to be delivered to firefighters and volunteers for combating fire and covering wounded animals from the forest fire rages in northern Thailand. Recently, the donation was sent via post by the representatives of Mono Group employees to charities namely “Sai Tai Aok Rod” and “Pa Khao Lom Hai Jai Rao” which provide support in environmental issues and forest fires in the north. The donation will be beneficial to their projects.

Volunteers of Mono Group cooperatively made face shields for hospitals and medical staff. Recently, the representatives of Mono Group volunteers presented face shields to Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute (BIDI), Department of Disease Control. Ms. Sukhonsri Klong-akara, a nurse in Triage Unit of BIDI, and Ms. Chantana Keha, Acting Chief of Out-of-Hours Service Unit, Siriraj Hospital, were the receivers. The face shields was also sent to Thasae 2 Hospital in Chumphon by post for medical staff to use them for preventing the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Referring to the outbreak of Coronavirus Disease 2019 or “COVID-19” in many countries worldwide, recently, Department of Health has collaborated with Mono Group to produce a 2-minute video clip to prevent and reduce the infection of COVID-19. The video clip promotes easy and effective ways for people to prevent and reduce the spread of COVID-19. These guidelines include wearing face mask, avoiding risk areas, using public transportation or objects, exercising, social distancing, as well as taking care of your health and family members.

“GSB GEN CAMPUS STAR 2020” PRESS CONFERENCE

“Government Savings Bank” and “CAMPUS STAR”, a magazine under Mono Group, held a press conference of the contest “GSB GEN CAMPUS STAR 2020” under the concept “The Power of New Gen” at Central World. The contest aims to find teenagers between the ages of 17-23 who will be selected to be the representatives of the new generation. In this event, “Dr. Chatchai Payuhanaveechai”, President of GSB, honorably gave an opening speech and welcomed honorable guests. “Mr. Puwapit Supamitchotima” – Senior Vice President – Artist Management and Radio Media of “Mono Talent Studio Co., Ltd.”, “Dr. Nuttakit Tungpoolsintana” – Assistant Marketing Director of “Central Pattana PCL.”, “Mr. Pilavat Assavavachiravit” – Executive Producer of “Mono Music Co., Ltd.”, and “Ms. Sangravee Kongprawechnont” – Editor of Campus Star Magazine, along with many actors and artists also attended the press conference.

The contest has been held for five consecutive years. Throughout the 4 previous years, the contest received attention and numerous feedback from the undergraduates of academic institutions nationwide. Mr. Patompong Sirachairat – CEO of Mono Technology PCL. and Mr. Worapong Nipakornpan – Director of Organization Communication Division of Office of The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), together with the actor Gluf – Kanawut Tripiphatpong and 3 directors, including Sua – Yanyong Kuru-angkul, Au – Weerayut Lortongpanit, and Sua – Pitchaya Jarasboonpracha, held a press conference of the project “UP CLIP PI-CHIT SAN SEASON 6” under the topic “CYBERBULLYING?”. Ms. Kanyapat Suksamarn, Assistant Vice President of Publishing & Online Content Business of Mono Technology PCL., along with students and undergraduates attended the event to persuade interested participants to join the short film contest. The press conference took place at the auditorium on the fifth floor of Bangkok Art and Cultural Center.

Mono Film celebrated Chinese New Year with the release of “Ip Man 4 : The Finale”. Paragon Cineplex on 5th floor of Siam Paragon was beautifully transformed into the grand Chinese fighting stage scene with guests attending the opening of the movie, including Ms. Sirirat Kositanont – Assistant Vice President of Mono Film Co., Ltd., Ms. Hataitip Madjui – Head of Monomax under Mono Film Co., Ltd., Ms. Narathip Rattapradit – Senior Executive Vice President Operations, Mr. Wichai Kultawatchai – Marketing Director of Major Cineplex Group PLC., Mr. Prakit Saharattanachaiwong – executive and the owner of Bangkok Wing Chun Martial Arts Club, Master Wang Ling Fong – Wing Chun instructor of Bangkok Wing Chun Martial Arts Club, and the invited actor, Great – Sapol Assawamunkong.

“Ip Man 4 : The Finale” is the final ending of the Wing Chun grandmaster “Ip Man” who fights against the western people to regain justice and equality for the Chinese. The movie was directed by Wilson Yip, starring Donnie Yen, Wu Yue, Danny Chan, Vanness Wu, Scott Adkins, Chris Collins, and Kent Cheng. It was released to theatres on January 23 to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
