On Friday, May 23, 2025, Ms. Daeng Nedpanit Potarakul, Chief Content Officer and Director of MONO29 Television Station, together with Ms. Noi Hathaithip Matjui, Director of Online Movie Business at Mono Streaming Co., Ltd. (MONOMAX), warmly welcomed participants of the “Public-Private Partnership in Social Order Maintenance Management Course (Public Organization) Class 12 to MONO29 Studio.

Distinguished attendees included Air Marshal Wichian Wichiantham, Director of the Royal Thai Air Force Operations Department; Police Major General Surasak Laohapibulkul, Assistant Program Director; Mr. Preeda Khajornkowit, President of BRR Class 12; and Mr. Chai Janhiangming, Senior Public Prosecutor from the Office of the Attorney General.

The delegation participated in a commemorative photo session, toured the production set of the Prompt Plus News program and MONO29’s main offices, and attended a briefing on content monitoring operations for both MONO29 and MONOMAX, held at MONO29 Studio on Chaiyaphruek Road, Nonthaburi.

MONO Streaming Co., Ltd. has been selected by Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce as one of twelve Thai entertainment companies to participate in the Marché du Film – Cannes Film Festival 2025, held from May 13–21, 2025, in Cannes, France. The initiative aims to promote Thailand’s Soft Power on the global stage. Representing MONO Streaming at the event are Ms. Chatsuree Sripamorn and Ms. Surapa Udompornwongsa, who will be presenting three standout Thai films: Ha Kom, Moo Baan Kho Kalok (The Cursed Village), and Nakee 3. These titles highlight the unique identity, culture, and creative strength of Thai cinema, and are set to attract attention from international distributors and investors.

This participation marks a significant step for MONO Streaming in expanding its international footprint and showcasing Thai storytelling to a wider global audience. In the previous year (2024), Thai representatives at the same event engaged in over 343 business negotiations, generating more than THB 1.469 billion in projected trade value. These figures reflect the growing global interest in Thai content and the country’s rising influence in the international film industry.

Following JAS’s acquisition of full broadcasting rights from The Football Association Premier League Limited (Premier League), the company is set to deliver live coverage, replays, and highlights of both the Premier League and FA Cup for six full seasons—from 2025/26 to 2030/31—in Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos. Under this exclusive partnership, JAS and Monomax will team up with PLAN B, the country’s leading out-of-home media operator, to launch integrated marketing efforts utilizing PLAN B’s 4Os Media strategy: Out-of-Home, Online, On-Air, and On-Ground platforms. The initiative will span nationwide advertising campaigns to maximize exposure for the live broadcasts of global football leagues.

Additionally, the partnership will focus on building and managing a vibrant community of football fans through official fan pages and social media platforms throughout each football season. This will allow Thai fans to stay connected and well-informed about match schedules, news, and key moments. PLAN B will play a pivotal role in managing commercial rights, working closely with sponsors to optimize brand engagement and deliver tangible value through targeted marketing activities and exclusive benefits.

The signing ceremony was led by Dr. Soraj Asavaprapha, CEO of JAS; Mr. Nawamin Prasopnet, CEO of Mono Next Public Company Limited (MONO); and Mr. Parin Lochanakosin, CEO of PLAN B. All three executives attended the event as official representatives overseeing marketing rights management. This partnership marks a significant milestone in the development of premium sports content in Thailand. Mono Streaming Company Limited has announced a strategic partnership with M STUDIO, committing a combined investment of over THB 140 million between 2024 and 2025 to co-produce and distribute Thai films to international audiences. The collaboration aims to elevate the Thai film industry to global standards through integrated rights management and comprehensive marketing strategies. Mr. Surachet Asavaruang-anant, Chief Executive Officer of M STUDIO, emphasized that the partnership with MONO — a leading content provider with a strong domestic and international fan base — marks a pivotal step in expanding the global reach of Thai cinema. The initiative includes plans to participate in major international film festivals and to establish global distribution alliances to drive long-term growth.

Ms. Nedpanit Potarakul, Chief Content Production Officer and Director of MONO29 TV Channel, added that the two companies plan to co-produce six diverse feature films from 2024:
“Ha Kom,” “Dance Angel,” “Khok Kalok Village,” “Wai Peng 2,” “Jazz Kot Sing,” and “Hor Taew Tak: Haek Lee Hoo.”
Each title has been carefully developed to appeal to both local and international markets, offering a broad spectrum of genres and target audiences. The films will be distributed across multiple platforms to ensure sustained revenue and wider market penetration for both companies.
